The assignment: Create an attractive and informative booklet for the company booth at the massive ConExpo trade show in Las Vegas. The booth featured a large wheel loader that had recently been completely rebuilt in the company shops. The assignment came in along with most of the photos at 8:00 in the morning, and the book had to be printed, bound and on a plane to Las Vegas by 8:30 that evening. I prepped the photos, designed the layout, wrote the copy and delivered the file to Alphagraphics early in the afternoon. Alphagraphics had all three copies ready with more than an hour to spare.
